As we continue to enhance the BitMEX platform for our users, we will be facilitating a minor upgrade to our system that will temporarily halt trading in our Testnet environment on Thursday, 2 March at 04:15 UTC, and our production (Mainnet) environment on Thursday, 9 March at 00:15 UTC.
Please rest assured that our top priority is, and always will be, to protect our platform and users’ funds. Below you will find further details of the upgrade.
For the Mainnet upgrade scheduled to take place on 9 March, the system will continue in cancel-only mode from 00:15 until 00:20 UTC. Cancel order requests that are made within the 5-minute window before the system upgrade takes place will still be processed.
From 00:20 UTC, any order actions will be rejected. Deposits made during this time will be queued for processing.
The system is expected to be online again in cancel-only mode from approximately 00:45 UTC. Continuous trading will recommence from approximately 00:50 UTC.
From the halt of trading until continuous trading resumes, there will be no Mark Price updates and hence no liquidations.
