On 22 December 2021 at 04:00 UTC, we will be listing new quarterly futures on BitMEX.
The new contracts will be visible on the platform from 21 December at 04:00 UTC as Unlisted, 24 hours before the start of trading. Contracts will be live in Testnet on 8 December, along with contract specifications.
To provide a better experience and markets that command liquidity for our users, we will be sunsetting the BCH, EOS, LTC, TRX, and XBTEUR Futures (please refer to our sunsetting details here). We will update the contract specifications on ADAH22, ETHH22, and XRPH22 to reflect our users’ feedback that contract sizes are too small on the current Z21 contracts. Overall, we are keeping the minimum trade amount the same, but will change the contract size by using a different multiplier and lot size.
API users should take note of the updated contract specifications of the impacted contracts, and in particular the changes to contract size, and update their relevant systems accordingly to avoid any disruption in trading.
