Scheduled Outage – Ethereum Hard Fork

The Ethereum Glacier hard fork is a planned upgrade to the Ethereum Network, and is scheduled to occur at the block height of 13,773,000. The upgrade is estimated to take place on 9 December 2021 at 19:45 UTC. Due to the fluctuating nature of block production times on the Ethereum blockchain, the time specified is an estimate only.

Deposits and withdrawals of USDT on BitMEX will be suspended starting from approximately 19:40 UTC, and will be resumed as soon as the network is deemed to be stable, after which our users will not be notified in a further announcement.

Please note that the trading of USDT on BitMEX will not be affected, and clients will be able to trade normally.
