We are making a change to our API authentication for all API and WebSocket endpoints that may impact API users’ integration.
Removing Support for Api-nonce
In 2019, BitMEX deprecated the use of api-nonce as part of the authentication with API keys. More details of this change can be found here.
From 8 February 2024, we will be removing support for api-nonce.
Action Required
If your integration relies on the `api-expires` header, no action is required on your part.
However, if you have not migrated to api-expires, we recommend reviewing your implementation to ensure compatibility with the upcoming change. For documentation on how to authenticate using the `api-expires` header, please view the documentation here.
Release Schedule
The planned release date for this change is Thursday 8 February 2024 at 04:00 UTC. Please make the necessary adjustments to your integration before this time to avoid any disruptions.
We appreciate your attention to this matter and apologize for any inconvenience caused. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Support.
