We are improving some aspects of Close/ReduceOnly order types.
The changes will be available in Production from 3 December 2024.
What is Changing?
Consistent to the current behaviour of live Close/ReduceOnly order types, we will be implementing auto cancellation for any untriggered conditional orders (Stop/OTO) that are also Close/ReduceOnly, when related positions are closed.
When positions close (or cross) due to the execution of some other orders, any untriggered Close/ReduceOnly orders that were set against the previous position will be auto cancelled.
Any close orders with no specific side and quantity will be cancelled on the first observed transition.
